The Darke County Health Department offers water testing on Thursday afternoons and Friday morning. Cost depends upon the parameters to be tested. To request sampling, please see the above applications. If you are a residence, please use the application for a Private Water System. If you are a business, church, or entity regulated by the Ohio EPA, use the Public Water System Application. If you are needing a water sample for a home sale or land split, please see Home Sale or Land split for the correct applications.
If you are a public water system, it is very important that the correct application is used as the Ohio EPA will not accept the Total Coliform Bacteria Count Test used by Private Water Systems to fulfill your reporting requirements.
