Nursing Bonnie Wagner, R.N., BSN, Director of Nursing, graduate from Community Hospital School of Nursing in 1989 and Indiana University in 2005. Her primary responsibilities as a public health nurse include working as a Help Me Grow Service Coordinator providing maternal/ infant home visits as well as management of the immunization program. She has been with the Health Department since 2004.
Ann Glidewell, R.N., PHN, graduated from Miami Valley Hospital in 1957. She was employed at Wayne Hospital from 1957 to 1965 and 1967 to 1974 as a Medical/Surgical/Pediatric nurse. She was employed with the Darke County Health Department from October 1974 to December 2004. She currently helps the Health Department on a part-time basis.
Jennifer Barga, R.N., is a 1997 graduate of Wright State University with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. Her primary responsibilities as a public health nurse include working as an immunization nurse and as the Help Me Grow Project Director and Service Coordinator. She has been with the Health Department since 2004.
Mary Elizabeth Bozarth, RN, BSN, graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Nursing in 1997 from Wright State School of Nursing. At the health department, she is the local Darke County nurse for the Bureau for Children with Medical Handicaps (BCMH) and the Project Nurse for the State Immunization Program. She spent the previous ten years in Emergency Room Nursing, including travel nursing and two years of Cardiac Nursing. She continues as a staff in an ER to maintain skills. Her primary responsibilities at the health department are day to day needs of the immunization program and case management/home visiting of medically fragile children in BCMH. She has been employed here since October of 2005.
Dennis Wein, RN, BSN, graduated
with his Bachelor's degree in Nursing in 1995 from Wright State University.
He also earned a degree in music education from Ohio Northern University in
1979. He joined the Department of Health nursing staff in November of
2005. His primary roles are coordinator of Emergency Response Services and
Infectious Disease Specialist.
Beverley Born, RN, is a 1991 graduate of Edison State Community College with an Associate of Applied Science in Nursing. Her primary responsibilities as a public health nurse include Help Me Grow Service Coordinator providing infant/ toddler home visits and working as an immunization nurse. She has been with the Health Department since 2006.
Kari Shuttleworth, RN, is a 2007 graduate of Sinclair Community College with an associate degree in nursing. Her primary responsibilities as a public health nurse include working as an immunization action plan nurse, working as a Help Me Grow service coordinator, and providing maternal/ infant home visits. She has been working with the Health Department since 2007.
Nicole Lefeld, RN, is a 2006
graduate of Rhoades State College with an Associate Degree in Nursing. Her
primary responsibilities as a public health nurse include Help Me Grow Service
Coordinator, providing maternal/ infant home visits, and working as an
immunization nurse. She also is responsible for the nursing division's lead
awareness and prevention program. She has been employed with the Health
Department since 2008.
Lisa Rodeheffer,
LSW, is a 1999 graduate of Wilmington College with a Bachelor's of
Arts Degree in Social Work. She is a Help Me Grow Service Coordinator
working with families that have children 0-3. She is primarily responsible
for making home visits, administering the Denver II Developmental Screening, and
helping families get their children' immunizations up to date.
She has been employed with the Health Department since 2003.
Audrey Plessinger is a 2006 graduate of Ashworth College with an Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education. She is the Help Me Grow Family Support Specialist and a Service Coordinator. She coordinates the Car Seat Safety Program and the Reading is Fundamental (RIF) Literacy Program. Her primary responsibilities include home visits with infants and toddlers, developmental screenings, fun and educational activities for families, writing the monthly Help Me Grow newsletter, and organizing fundraising and education for the Help Me Sleep Program. She has been employed with the Health Department since 2004.
Dr. Osterbur is the Medical Director at the Health Department. He has been employed with the Health Department since 1985.
Sandra Fry is the clerical specialist for the Nursing Division. She has been employed with the Health Department since 2001.
